The service
Shift + Career provides a career-orientation assessment and a personalized written report for high-school students. It draws on established frameworks from career and personality psychology (Holland’s RIASEC, the Big Five, and work values). It is not a clinical or diagnostic psychological test, and it does not replace professional career counseling or psychological assessment.
Who can use it
The assessment is designed for students aged roughly 15 to 18. A parent or guardian must consent before a student under 18 takes it. By booking for a minor, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian.
Booking and payment
- One assessment costs US$50, paid once. Prices are shown before you pay.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe on a hosted checkout page. We never see or store your card details.
- Students at participating schools may unlock the assessment for free with a school code.
- Additional payment methods (such as Whish) may be added; the same terms apply.
Access
- Each purchase or school code unlocks one assessment for one student.
- Access is single-use and non-transferable, and expires if it is not used within the time shown.
- School codes may not be shared, sold, or redeemed by anyone the school did not issue them to.
- Automated access, scraping, or attempts to bypass payment or code checks are not permitted.
Your report
We aim to deliver your personalized report by email within 5 business days of completing the assessment. A specialized AI system assists your assessor in analyzing your answers and drafting the report; a person reviews it before it is sent.
Refunds
- If a technical issue on our side prevents you from completing the assessment or receiving your report, we will fix it or refund you in full.
- Once the assessment is completed and report preparation has begun, purchases are generally non-refundable, because the work is personal to you and cannot be resold.
- Every request is still looked at case by case. Email support@shiftcareer.net within 14 days of purchase.
Using the results
The report highlights paths that may fit your profile so you can make a more informed decision. It does not choose a career for you, and it is not a guarantee of admission, employment, or success in any field.
Content and ownership
Your report is for your personal use. The assessment, the report format, the sample report, and everything on this website belong to Shift + Career Consultancy and may not be copied, resold, or used to build a competing service.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
